Signal boosting a few fun opportunities for artists! Are you looking for something cool to do this summer? Try one of these!
Flush FataleA fully illustrated deck of playing cards, is looking for female-identifying artists to illustrate playing cards based on women from history. Each card (54 cards total) will be illustrated by a different artist.
Payment: The project will be funded through a Kickstarter. NONE of the art is required upfront. If the Kickstarter is successful, each artist will be paid a minimum of 150$ USD as well as a copy of the deck of cards. We use the term ‘minimum’, because in the event that the Kickstarter goes over our funding goal, the extra funds (minus the cost of the web hosting, etc.) will be evenly distributed amongst the artists. We have no way of telling how much this will be until the Kickstarter is completed; so it could be much higher! Each artist keeps all the rights to their work. The art is only used for Flush Fatale's card deck and promotional materials. If the Kickstarter does not get funded, no art is required. If you have difficulties with this form, feel free to e-mail us at: flushfatale@gmail.com
Call Closing Date: July 31st, 2016
Notification of Acceptance: August 15th, 2016
Cards Assigned and Women Chosen: September 15th, 2016
