Description
Age 3 -- Kylla is taken into the custody of the Circle Mages after a catastrophic fire burns down her entire village. Many of the inhabitants escape, but her parents are amongst the casualties. The cause of the fire has not been explained, but it is suspected to be a particularly tragic demonstration of Kylla's magical awakening.
The traumatic event turns the young mage's hair permanently white. Yet another example of why mages should be secluded and kept locked away for the sake of normals.
Age 13 -- Kylla has no memory of her parents or her life before the Tower, but has always felt a sense of distance between herself and the other students. Tales of her parents' grisly deaths and the cause thereof have been circulated behind her back, though few say anything directly to her face. Few, in fact, talk to her at all. She becomes a regular in Wynne's extracurricular poultice class and spends a great deal of time in the library or assisting the faculty.
Age 17 -- Time is forgetful, as are mortal minds. After nearly a decade and a half at the Circle Tower, Kylla has finally gained acceptance amongst the students and the staff. It's too bad that a mysterious fire in the next month cuts short her budding sense of self esteem and competency.
Age 25 -- Post-DAO. Kylla and Ereb pursue their dreams of becoming exotic florists and tea shop owners in Orlais. With connections throughout Ferelden, below, and beyond, they are able to acquire a number of stunning and exotic items never before seen in the region.
Deeply changed by the events of DAO and their experience traveling with the genlock Gary, Kylla also begins a lifelong research project into the darkspawn "curse" and its cause and effects -- using herself as subject to attempt to reverse engineer The Joining ritual and understand how the Grey Warden rite first originated.
